Supernatant Laboratories is a UK-based organisation conducting independent multi-faceted research programmes exploring the fertile interfaces between technology and modernity; creativity and artistic practise; metaphysics, ontology and meaning, and the future trajectory of the human race.
This is achieved through an ensemble of activites across the 21st century multi-media spectrum – contemporary art, electronic and electro-acoustic music, literature, workshops, lectures, performance and novel syntheses thereof.

Supernatant Laboratories is a member of The Centrifuge family of music organisations. The Centrifuge curates, produces and delivers the “Supernatant” programme of Workshops, “Make Sessions”, Lectures and Seminars. These have been designed to enrich and enliven artistic, cultural and electronic music festivals, outreach events, universities and beyond.
